The 2018 Swim the Solent challenge brought together swimmers in support of the Ian Pratt MND Foundation, raising awareness and crucial funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) research.
The 2018 Swim the Solent challenge continued its legacy as a powerful event in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Bringing together passionate swimmers, supporters, and advocates, the event reinforced the mission of the Ian Pratt MND Foundation (IPMNDF)—raising awareness, funding research, and supporting individuals living with MND.
As with previous years, participants completed qualifying test swims, preparing for the demanding Solent crossing. More than just a physical challenge, the event symbolised hope, resilience, and collective action in driving forward crucial efforts to improve treatments and search for a cure.
The 2018 Swim the Solent demonstrated the continued dedication of the foundation’s supporters, proving that through perseverance and teamwork, meaningful progress can be made in the battle against MND.
